I really enjoyed this project because the guidelines gave us a lot of room to play with our images. My words I was working with were joy and grief. It was easy for me to portray these emotions in my pages because i made one dark and gloomy and the other bright and happy. This guide book will be helpful in the future when finding printers around the Chattanooga area. I like the fact that everyone had their work in the book to make it more diverse with styles and elements. When actually printing the book through LuLu I found it to be very easy with step by step directions.

I was intimidated by this project in the beginning because i had never worked with real clients before. And im not going to lie it was intimidating throughout the process also. Because Grant and Lisa are also designers it was harder for us to pitch them our ideas and have them be amazed by what we came up with. i did enjoy working with them a I learned a lot from this experience. With my poster I wanted to do something that incorporated both the person and the star that I drew. I made my poster to be organic to match the looseness of the hand drawn face. I also wanted it to be patriotic by using red, white, and blue for my color palette.
